RE: Buying this car in a few days
If anybody on this site ever saw you in person with that bumper, they'd $hit.
But no doubt a pretty nice si, those rims, grill, nice.
But obviously that bumper has to go.

All of you who said the rear diffusers don't help, are Dumb. Period.
Will it have a great affect on a mostly stock si? No
Are diffusers stupid and pointless in general? Absolutely not.

I don't necessarily think it looks amazing, but imo it doesn't look bad. In that picture you can't even see anything but what looks to be like a long black rectangle sticker. Yeah, it's not going to help out barely any but even if it does just a little the smallest amount, i'll take it =] But I probably will end up buying an oem from work eventually, just not #1 on my list atm

I don't think anyone here meant that diffusors don't work in general. I think everyone just meant it is horrendous on that civic.

yeah, i've had it checked and everything. He never runs it hard but I may not be getting it.
When my car was stolen, my uncle (who owns a mitsu dealership) started letting me drive loaner cars until i found a new car ( he was looking for one also ). I told him I was thinking about getting this si and he acted mad that I wasn't buying from him, when I've gave him 6 weeks. Well today he calls and tells me he just picked up an 04 WRX, great condition, stock everything 1 owner, yada yada. He knows I'm not spending over 9-10k and he said he would make it work. So I guess I'll find out soon whether it checks out okay and he can sell it cheap enough to me. Def worth paying a few more grand and 30-40 extra a month on insurance I think.
