Default Buying a Honda Civic Coupe

So I'm car shopping and I came across a Honda Civic Coupe, black, 9,500 Miles, 2009, LX trim, selling for $15,900. Just wondering why its this price when you can get a brand new honda civic coupe for about 4 thousand more? Brand new, cars depreciate 25% once driven off the lot and this car is priced above that. So my question is... Is this a good price and what should I offer for it?

Thanks in advance

thats about the expected asking price for it, i would offer 12,900 and settle at 13,800.

and not all cars depreciate 1/4 just by driving them off the lot, thats more of a domestic template.

Not sure where you're at, I'm in MA. I just bought a NEW 2011 Coupe.
Was listed at $19,150. Talked them into a deal for $15,500.

Try. Good Luck.
