Buying a premodded civic....MPG?

RE: Buying a premodded civic....MPG?
I would not buy a modded car. Since its modded, buyers think that they should get alot more money than the car is actually worth. You will end up paying more then you should for that modded car. Second thing is that you don't know who did the work and if the work was any good. Since its modded, you have to questions alot of stuff that you can't see, such as engine internals and such. I think that modded cars are too much of a hassle. Cars that have any high performance are more prone to breaking down b/c you are asking the engine to do more work than it was ever designed to handle. Think of it like athletes, they always are getting injured b/c they are working harder than their bodies were designed to, its the same with cars.

i bought my civic and it was already modded....ever since i bought it it seems we have been fixing things, or at least correcting them...but none-the-less the car is fun as hell....for instance, today we had to instal a camber kit to fix the alignment problem of the tires...
