Default Buying used: avoid the 2012 model ?

Is it true that it's probably best to find a 2011 civic vs 2012 which was apparently a bad year based on the number of complaints ?

That's not true.. Any vehicle you look up is gonna have compliants. Everyone has things they complain about that others wouldn't. Honda is not a perfect company neither is any other vehicle manufacturer. They all have there ups and downs

lets see the 01-05 had automatic transmission problems along with head gaskits. the 06 had issues with the block cracking. the 2011 up im not sure i never looked into it. any car is going to have its issues. even the US military hummers couldn't make it past 50,000 miles.

My 2012 LX Coupe has been great with no problems. All I have done is regular maintenance. It has the 5 speed auto and drives like a dream.
