can sum1 please answer this ... as stupid as some people might find it
i was just wondering if it hurts the engine to rev it high when your in nutreul? .... i have 8k rpms and i rev it to about 5 when in nutreul whether it be in motion or standing still ... just to show off i guess is y i do it lol ... but i was wondering if this damages the engine in any way and if so how?? thank you for taking the time to respond to this (what some poeple might think) rediculous post :P

i dont think its great for it, but i dont think its going to kill it either? but you are showing off? you gotta swapped engine? gotta powerful car? trying to prove something? im just kidding with you just watch you dont over due it [8D]

Its not gonna hurt it. I used too jam a golf club between the seat and the throttle to find out where strange engine noises were coming from, my mechanical minded mate used 2 say it was fine. 5k's nothing for and engine anyway, but reving it at a stand still is gonna heat it up more than usual with the lack of air flowing it the radiator. As long as you fans are ok tho...
