car shut down and rolled away ...
i love snow. its an excuse for me to pay the nearest parking lot owner to do some slides and roll around wrecklessly.
but i couldnt believe my eyes when this happened.
i began to slide sidways fairly well until i ended up in a small area where my tires gained traction.
my wheel was turned all the way and all i could hear was this unpleasant sound coming from the tires and boom.
the car shut down ... completely.
dunno. maybe i ruined something ... anyone know what i did wrong? or is that part of honda's amazing features?
cause i dont feel like spending money to get my car checked out tomorrow.

the car is automatic.
and the mechanic doesnt know what i did either. but he said not to attempt it again before serious problems might occur.

Oh, I thought you meant you couldn't get it to start up at all anymore.
You probably tricked the engine into thinking it was starved for oil when you were flinging it around and some censor went and for safety the car shut off. Is there a check engine light?

Well, if the car is driving fine then you can re-set the car by leaving the battery unhooked for a few minutes. If you took it to a mechanic and he didn't pull the CEL code or figure out what was wrong... I'd say find a new mechanic.
Have you tried flooring your car? Is it driving funny, does it shift at a low rpm?
What year is your car? What engine do you have?
