a car alarm. lol.

there are also other things, like having a hidden fuel cut off switch, and other stuff.

Hidden switches are quite effective. You can also remove small vital parts from the car and take them with you when parking in a sketchy location. For example the fuel pump fuse.

yea and they have that LoJack thing, incase your car is stolen. They put a GPS unit hidden in your car, and if your car gets stolen, you file a police report and the cops have the info to the GPS and they find your car. Although if it's expensive I would only buy it if you live/work in a shady area or have some expensive stuff under your hood or in the car.

I just got a civic that came with an alarm, but I don't know how it works with the remote. Plus, alarms are overrated nobody pays attention to them anymore...To them it's just another accidental alarm going off.

if your ride is worth saving then do yourself a huge favor....... FULL COVERAGE CAR INSURANCE....

no matter what you do to your car it can ALWAYS BE STOLEN!

you put a boot on the car... what do they care if it damages the car. or a simple jack and wheel dolly and a simple winch and trailer..... its just that easy!
no need to hot wire anything, break anything... hell all they need is a tow truck... and anyone with money can buy a tow truck.LOL

I hate the feeling of your personal stuff getting tampered with...

On 4th of july I left my driver side door unlocked to run in and get a house key from my grandmas (About 3 AM, I was locked out). and when I came out about an hour later (We chatted for a little bit) my stereo faceplate and woofers were stolen.

Luckly the Subs and amp in the trunk weren't messed with.

I filed a police report and they lifted some prints, but I don't think I'll get them back.

but man I hated the feeling of that.

Yeah I know what you mean... there was a smudge on my window... a handprint... and he dusted it with that graphite looking stuff... put tape over it, and pulled it off...

and he said he couldn't get a clear reading and all this stuff...

And then he told me how their lab is so slow that it wouldn't even benefit me.
