Default cb7 ex-r accord...

So I'm looking at buying this accord. 1990 2dr ex-r fully loaded auto. One of the cylinders has no compression, the owner put a bunch of work into everything but the motor, I.e ball joints and cv joints. Has rust on the rear wheel wells. He wants 800 for it without the ex-r rims. I don't think it's worth that but I don't know what's reasonable. Is that a deal, or just him trying to break even?

Does he have receipts for all of this stuff he just replaced? What is his reason for selling it?

Do you feel like swapping the motor out?

Swapping the motor is no issue. F23 vtec!

But I know it's not worth the money he wants so forget it... I can do better!

Good! Have no shame in walking away from something and NEVER FEEL PRESSURED from a buyer.

Looked at a car on Saturday night to buy, the seller was pushing me on buying it, even when I was bringing up things that were wrong. After driving 2.5 hours to him, I still walked away and I am damn happy about it since I found something else yesterday

Yeah I came across something good... Hoping he'll still have it next week... Nice find on the teg. Sell me your rims if you want to get rid of them! ;P
