check the engine light.....damnn it
okay cel came on. i was parked for about 30+ minutes with the car running
theen i got out. did what i had to do....lol
then started driving but when i turned it back on i noticed my cel was on...
it was a little low on oil so i put a quart in it.
how do i pull the codes. i dont want to go to an auto parts store to borrow one of there code pullers. is there a diy on how to pull the codes for an em2???
i'll keep every one posted on the problem
it runs and sounds fine to me, what sensors go out usualy?
i had problems with my ivac in my d14b and d16y8
and that through a code,
anything common on these engines??

The light will often go out when you restart the engine but then come on again when a problem is again detected. You can scan even while the light is out for the moment. The trouble code should still be stored and will appear on the scanner.

best investment i ever made.. OBD2-usb cord.. it cost me like 22 bux on ebay, plus they sent me software and gold valve caps. just plug it into your obd port, plus the other side into your usb port on a laptop, run the software, it will tell you what the code number is, description of it, and let you clear it. it also tells you all of the data from your sensors. its pretty useful, and i would rather have this than a hand held scanner that costs 80 bux because this has more features. i highly reccomend it.
