Chosing the right Civic
I've been driving my bro's Cobalt for awhile but I decided to lay off on driving it for awhile to keep the mileage low on it so he doesn't get pissed lol. I really like to buy a Civic but I'm unsure if I want an Ex or a Si can someone give me alittle info about the Si's? Like how they perform.

It depends on what kind of generation you want. All si and ex are vtec. At least for eg and ek. Those are the only real option, sorry I am very biased on generations. Maybe an ef would be alright, but they have problems for swapping as far as motor mounts.
But eg civics have the same d16z6 for ex and si. Which has 130 hp.
Ek's have a d16y8 for the ex (130hp). And a b16a2 for the si. (160 hp)
I really wouldn't go into the newer generations. They are bigger and heavier, and quite frankly I think they look poopy.

4th gen = 88-91
5th gen = 92-95
6th gen = 96-00

Yeah those are good cars. They have the b16 which is a great platform for modification. If you have the wallet (they are kinda expensive for my taste) to get one then do it, they're great. Definitely better than my lil' turdy.

Wow bigolsackapoo your Hatch is sick man. I looked at a 2000 Si Couple on youtube and seen it perform and I think its perfect for me. I'm going out car shopping tomorrow and hopefully I'll find what I want. I don't want a car thats been modded to much.
