Civic 2013 pollen air filter & engine air filter change
I had my oil changed at my local Honda dealer. I have 22945 miles on my 2013 Civic hybrid and they recommended changing the pollen air filter (their price $59.99) & engine air filter (their price $49.99). Is it really time to change these filters? I live in CT and only drive on regular paved roads or is the dealer just trying to add to my bill? And what is the pollen air filter anyway?

where in ct are you from,im in the middletown area. anyway the dealer will always over charge. you can get those filters at walmart for 25 bucks each. the cabin filter is located behind the glove box and pulls rite out. they will most likely be clogged with leaves and seeds, mine was also clogged with a rodent nest. the pollen or cabin filter, filters the air coming out of your vents into the car. if not replaced it could damage your blower motor.pepboys or advanced auto will replace them for free if you don't feel up to it.
