Default civic alignment ?

I'm asking the stupid question for the day. I'm building a 92 civic hatch ,virgin territory for me. I'm having paint and body work done now I will be putting 16" wheels and tires on asap, do I need a 2 or 4 wheel alignment to keep my new tredz happy and healthy? All stupid and polock jokes will be accepted with humor!!!

well if ur uncertain of the alignment being correct, it sure wouldnt hurt to have it done. body work and putting wheels on ur car wont throw off the alignment tho. some dealerships have alignment test plates that u can run ur car over for free to check ur alignment, do it if u can. that way u'll know if u need an alignment or not before blowing $60-80 on one.

It could not hurt to get them all done. Its better to spend $60-80 then $100+ on new tires.

if you don't know when the last time an alignment was done, any suspension mods/repairs have been made, or you have any sort of shake while driving, i'd say an alignment wouldnt hurt, but no with just no wheels it's not necesarry. If you have any way to check it (like mentioned earlier), yea that'd be for sure be a good idea before hand though.

well if rocken new springs than wait about a week or drive it hard to try and get the springs to settle..... cause if you just slap on the new springs and get it aligned than it can sag over time and throw off the alignment again...

BUT if your keeping your used springs just slap them on and get it aligned...
like said 60-80bucks is ALOT cheaper than buying new 500+ dollars in new tires!!!!
its just cheap insurance for proper tire wear.
