Civic SI engine
A stock 2000 Honda Civic SI should have a B16A2 right??
I'm looking at one that has a D16Y8 in it tho... so that doesnt make sense to me.
Car does has theft recovery title, so i guess the original engine might have gotten jacked.
Or could there be another explanation... or am i just retarded and missing something here? lol.
Cuz thats kinda lame... a d16y8 in an 2000 si...

my guess is that either someone yanked the B16 when the car was stolen and it was replaced with that Y8 you're looking at OR it's really an EX that's been debadged and cloned to look like an Si. In that case, one way to tell it is to match the numbers on the vehicle. I think the engine should have a VIN plate on it, right? If the numbers match, then it's an EX that's been Si cloned.
Even quicker than that, does it have the Si guage cluster? It should look something like this:

ORIGINAL: that guy
It says it's from Vancouver. If it's canadian, it would have a D16y8, I believe. Should be just like the USDM EX but with different badges.
