civic to small?

civic to small?
maybe its just me, but i think my 94 civic lx sedan sometimes is to small. im not a big guy, 6' about 155 lbs. i LOVE the gas milage that the little 1.5 gets, and its got some pep for a tiny motor. my civic was a deal, so im not gonna sell it and buy something bigger, so im keeping it and im glad that i have it, especially for the gas milage. o well, i do feel big next to the toyota yaris though, lol
anyone else think that?

RE: civic to small?
I parked next to a mini Cooper at the store the other day andI couldn't believe how muchlarger the Civic is. The Civic is not the small car it used to be. I traded inmy moms'88 Accord for my '06 Civic LX, and they are similar in size with the Civic weighing in at 400 lbs more. My only size complaint is the lack of foot room caused by the clutch pedal of the manual transmission. The only way to stretch out a leg is to place it between the clutch and brake pedals. When I have the "cruise control" engaged I can only stretch out one leg at a time.

RE: civic to small?
Well a sedan civic feels small for me and when i went to buy a car for getting to my new job i was against getting a civic. My previous cars have also been larger cars, (LeSabre, Crown Victoria, Volvo 740, Maxima) but when I seen the EX and got inside it was very very roomy and im not exagerating it, the 2 door civic for the driver feels a lot more comfortable and roomy (from my perspective) so even though my civic is a rather small vehicle its not bad at all and inside I have plenty of room and am very comfortable, and im a bigger guy than you, (about 6feet 200 pounds).
The thing is if you just got the car and used to drive something bigger it is going to feel small, sometimes ill get on my dads Volvo and it feels like his car is more roomy, until the transision is complete it will feel small.

im 6ft 190pounds...
only time i feel cramped is when i got a passenger.LOL
but thats only because my 94 is a manual so shifting gears i typicaly hit there knees when shifting. hahahhahaha
but my 99 is roomy because its a automatic. no shifting needed so feels like enough room.

RE: civic to small?
the thing that i feel lacked for space with is the center counsil. my 94 has those crappy flip up cup holders that broke instantly, so now i had to make my own cup holders against the council on the passangers side, i feel bad for whoever sits in the passanger seat now cuz theres a cupholder in the way.
that and the truck is WAYYY to small. im constantly folding down the rear seat to make room in my trunk.
