Civic take off speed...increase it any?
I dont have a civic yet but im looking into one. I read it can go 0-60 in 7.9 seconds.
By adding special air filters or mufflers can you make it take off faster without much or any loss of gas performance?
Im just wondering if anyone here has made their car go faster.

which year are you talking about. also depends on which airfilters in some cases you gain fuel economy and in somecases you lose fuel economy but for the amount of performance it performs i would rather lose 3mpg.

Yeah a few miles per gallon but better power would I guess be worth it in some cases...
Its a 2001 honda civic ex coupe (auto or manul) I was looking into.
What all can you do to get more speed out of them?

well i thınk ıf you really want to get performance wıthout loss of fuel economy just consider a RSX type-s swap. you wıll get around the fuel economy of a rsx type s wıth 200hp. that nearly doubles the stock hp. At most you wıll lose 5mpg (at most)
But if youre saying i dont want to do that much a CAI and full exhaust is for you
