well i've finally reached the point were i have to down size. the problem is i'm stuck between these 2 cars and figured i'd ask the popel that now them best which one is better. I'm looking at both 2014 models of the civic and the kia forte. i love the outside and inside of the new civic and it comes packed with toys however that new cvt transmission leaves alot to be desired. where as the forte is a little more plain on the inside but the engine and transmission have alot of get up and go. so i'll through the question to you guys can the new civic 1.8 lt. and cvt tranny be brought up to speed. or is it a lost cause.

 

kia is junk it always was and always will be you ever hear the saying '' you can't polish a turd'' well kia/hyundai have. you wonder why kia has such an amazing drive train warranty because if they didn't nobody would buy them.

 

You can get the Civic with a 5-speed.
