Default Civics don't have MAF sensors on them? Myth or Truth?

Well after doing some research in this site, i found some people have said that MAF sensors don't exist in civic. However I found tech questions where people have talked about MAF sensor in their civic. Now especially some dude asking a question in yahoo answer about how he removed the maf sensor from his 2007 civic.

So now wondering. Do honda civics have MAF sensors in them?

as far as i know, they do. i'm no expert though... i'm sure someone else here will know for sure.

i was thinking that is what was causing me problems on my 98 dx. i put in a rai and after a few days the check engine light came on. i guess it could've been other things..but i knew less about cars then than i do now, so not sure.

No civics do not have a Mass Air Flow sensor (MAF) we have a Manifold Absolute Pressure sensor. (MAP)
