I've heard this from various people on this forum throughout the years. Why? I've used Fram filters since I first inherited my ride with no problems. I don't mean to call you out, but is there some consumer reports information you read or is this just from hear say?
this is from my personal experince and a few buddies. one that has been working for advace auto in the commercial department for 10yrs.

ive had them clog causing my oil pressure to drop to almost 0, this has happened to me several times, i like the outter design, since its easy to grip and take off but thats it, i even tried one just a couple of months ago on my jeep and had the same issue, swapped it out for a different brand and havent had a issue since.
