Default a d16 mystery....

i just had a d16A installed in my car and need some questions answered if possible. It did come from japan but i've heard it is similar to the usdm z6. I did some research and found out it is a very rare motor, someone also told me it has higher compression due to slightly bigger pistons? I can also feel the difference, it feels more responsive than the z6. If anyone has any info, specs, etc. please help me out. Thanks for your time and for reading my post.
