I was more looking for clarification. I saw that the person above me had stated it did in fact have a knock sensor, but wanted to get a solid answer from more then one person.

Since i am doing a y7/y8 mini me wouldnt the p28 from the 97 del sol work, i live in california and with emissions and everything i would like to keep my knock sensor and OBD2. Is the d16z6 in the del sol vtec? and im assuming single cam since it is still a d16.

I do not want to have any problems when i go to smog my car next year, or have to deal with the hassle of swapping out ecu's from OBD0 to OBD2 just to get tested.
