Default datecoding motor help?!?!?!???

okay so i own a black civic si, but the previous owner swapped the old b16 (trashed) with a JDM b18c. normal JDM b18c's ('95 - '97) have about 180hp i believe. but the previous owner said it came out of a 2000 integra. now, please correct me if im wrong but since it's an '00 motor, does this mean its a type r? iv been looking around and it says type r's were made from '95 - '00. where as integra si's (jdm for gsr) were '95 - '97. keep in mind this is a JDM motor, not a USDM or a b18c5 (type r also) im not for sure about any of this, especially since its from out of the country so is there a way i can find out what exact year it was made?
