Default Decisions decisions

So I'm still working on getting my first civic. I had one in mind, a 2003 Civic SI with 37k miles black on black and 5 speed manual transmission for a little under 12k. Well I did another search and found that there is a Blue 2000 Civic SI coupe with 73k miles on it for 11k obo. The blue civic come with a GReddy exhaust and DC sports headers. Should I go for the 2000 or the 2003?

id go for the newer SI... even tho its not modded... at least you KNOW its stock or unmolested....

id pick a stock car over a modified car anyday! and thats just cause the other guys work YA NEVER KNOW how good he did!

hell the 94civic i bought for a project... FOUND OUT THE OTHER DAY... THE ALTERNATOR DIDNT EVEN HAVE THE LOWER BOLT ON... WOW is all i can say about that! plus a bad ball joint, bad axle and alot more things i dont like.... and ive never driven the car yet!

get the low milage unmolested ride! and work from a clean canvas!!!!

While we are on the topic of buying cars; I was offered an Evo 8 for 9k. It is like a family friend deal thing. I will have to dip into savings, but I could get that. Or I could get a 92 civic with 99 Si dohc vtec engine in it. The civic hatch also has new performance headers, Pistons, Cams, carbon hood/ front end and other parts. 3k
