would my car be an unofficial type r? it says on wikipedia that "The EK9 Civic Type R was preceded by two previous generations of unofficial Type R's - the EF9 SiR I and EG6 SiR II." and an eg6 is a 92-95 civic with a b16a right?

You don't have an Si, and you don't have an SiR.
Putting an Si, SiR, or Type R badge on your Civic EX coupe is one of the most ricey things you can do to your car. Anyone who knows any better will ridicule you when they see that badge on your car.

I'm going to have to agree with trust on this. Any one from the street would see that badge on your car and laugh their butts off man. Instead of trying to add the clutter of badging, try making your car cleaner by debadging. A clean ride always get more respect than a ride with badges and other things that scream ' look at me '.
