I always put jackstands in for safety's sake...trust me, it ain't fun if it falls on you...I KNOW THAT:-D

hmm..if you got a lift of any kind use it. or a 2 ton jack or anything..stands work as well..will make it much much much more easy...i did a full exhaust switch on my probe with only a 2 ton jack..takes a **** loada time and makes it more challenging but its possible
