Default Does intake really add power low end??

Since my AEM cold air intake was installed I've noticed a huge diff in low end pwr. Is it in my head or does it really help. The tires wana spin more easily. Not complaining just curious.

it sounds cool. but other than that it doesn't do to much with low end power. your mind is just playing tricks on you

I have a Weapon R intake. Had it up on the dyno when we put it on. up to about 4500 RPMs it was right about 4 but in higher a RPM range it made 7.3 a 6200. The thing about it you gain low end whp but drop low end wtq too. Low end wtq went down by 5.

ahahhahah! where is that from? I remember reading about that somewhere. it was a joke about ricers. If you had spoilers that would be like another 10hp gain and all these ridiculous funny things about ricers.
