I have a friend with a mentally challenged daughter that always slams car doors. The door handle is now barely hanging on and the door rattles very loudly. The door has also been repaired several times. Yes, it does cause damage.

 

Dammit, i accidentally thre my door closed a little too hard (damn wind) and when i rolled it down, the window fell out of the rail
