It took me 1 full day to learn. Go the car Fri night. Dad took me driving saturday. I drove like a half hour on Sunday then drove myself to school on monday.

I had it down in 15 minutes personally. Eventually it becomes second nature. WHen I had my 240sx, i could smoke, drink coffee and shift at the same time.

i learned to drive a stick when i was a valet..nothing like the third manual trans car youve ever driven being a ferrari...

i never had one, although i drove them at work, and then got the bimmer, which was a stick, but i had blown out my left knee and i was told that i wouldnt regain full use of my leg, so i gave up driving a stick, and once my knee was doing better, my dad and i were out riding around in the bimmer, when he pulled over and told me that we werent going anywhere unless i was driving...so i drove home with no problem and over time as my knee got better so did i with the clutch...

also, working as a technician and driving lots of different types of manual cars helps improve skill..that way you dont expect the clutch to always feel the same..
