i learned to drive a stick when i was a valet..nothing like the third manual trans car youve ever driven being a ferrari...
i never had one, although i drove them at work, and then got the bimmer, which was a stick, but i had blown out my left knee and i was told that i wouldnt regain full use of my leg, so i gave up driving a stick, and once my knee was doing better, my dad and i were out riding around in the bimmer, when he pulled over and told me that we werent going anywhere unless i was driving...so i drove home with no problem and over time as my knee got better so did i with the clutch...
also, working as a technician and driving lots of different types of manual cars helps improve skill..that way you dont expect the clutch to always feel the same..
