Wow.... Soooo gay, Just trying to replace the bulb on the civic and the little retaining metal (all weird bent up) metal peice decided to come off.. I have spent an hour trying to figure this out so Im going to take it to a nearby shop, right down the road so he can show me how to do this so next time ill know.

Is it fine to just plug it in and put it into the headlight so that atleast its connected? I wont turn the light on.
