Default Give me your opinion on price 92 SI

Still looking for a car and ran across this one close to me. 92 SI bone stock with 73,000. Timing belt replaced, New brakes/rotors/ new tires. Car is one owner and still with the owner. Price is high at $5000 very firm, is it worth is since the history?
Also any ideas howthe si does on 90% highway mileage. I have been looking at the VX and CX since I know the mileage but cant find a nice one.

Thanks
James H

That is crazy hight, I paid 2500 for my 96EX. You can find them all over for around that price. If your looking for gas milage look for a non DOHC. I sacraficed the 1-2mpg for the EX because I wanted pwr windows/locks/stearing/AC, where the DX doesn't come with that. Look harder man, because 5k is STEEEEEEP.

Yeah I figured way to high, KBB is saying $3500. I'll have to pass on that one. What kind of mileage do you get on your EX?(1slowcivic)

Thanks

Is the guy selling it on acid?

I have a 93 DX that had 98,000 miles when I bought it almost 2 years ago. I paid 3400. I think it's worth 2800 now.

My EX has 130k, doesn't drip a drop of oil, runs great, was BONE STOCK. I had 5 or 6 civi's, HB's to chose from when I bought that where all right around the 3k mark. They are all over down here in FL, good clean Honda's for 3k all day long. Where are you from and maybe I can help you.

If I do a hatch I want a VX or CX and the only need is ac. I do want it stock with nothing really done to it. Let me know if you run across anything. A HX coupe would be good as well.

Thanks

Thats too high OP dont listen to that guy he/she is litterally lit. I paid 2k more and got mine 10 years younger. The milage isnt bad for it but the body has seen a lot of weather. I wouldnt buy that car for more than 3thousand, and I doubt anyone else will either.
