alright thx.

i had a megan racing mani on my 16g lancer and it seemed pretty decent. the welds started to crack after a while though, but then again her civic isnt goin to be turbo. so are they decent? cuz we dont have the cash right now for a dc or manaflow. so its either goin to be finding an oem one or the megan and a highflow.

i actually just had my dad weld up the crack in the mani, so just goin to see how that holds for now.

got the head off today aswell. doesnt seem to be warped or anything but it deffinatly needed a new gasket. there was gunk and oil all in the intake mani and injectors too... cleaned the injectors up really good and soaked the mani in some gas to get everything out.

i think someone who had the car before had just torqued the bolts on the head wayyy to much.. cuz the front 5 seemed to be at around 50lbs and werent to hard to get off. but 4 of the back 5 i couldnt budge.. had to put a breaker bar on it and me and pops both had to tug...

so anyway got the new gasket in put the timing belt back on and got the head bolts all torqued at 49lbs.

goin to get everything else back on in the mornging.. praying it fixes the problem

only thing im having trouble with is getting the distributor back on.. i marked it when right when it took it off so it has moved any. but it just doesnt want to go back on. the teeth are still in the right spot too so i duno what the deal is and i dont wana force it.
