A new SI will handle one with bolt ons. I never raced one because with my last car and the one I have now it would do nothing but prove the obvious. I dont mind them though but it is a shame that they are taking the sc one off the market w/o a plan to go turbo on the next gen. The Sky and it's Pontiac counterpart along with the HHR-SSeither allready have or will have 260hp-260tq turbo'd ecotec'sin them. If they would have brought the Colbalt and Pontiac G5 to the table with this setup they could claim the market the SRT4's demise opened up and that is a good priced, over performing, over built domestic sport compact that beats up on it's competition.

 

my little turbo D walked by an ss/sc no problem, multiple times.

 

even if your not faster...atleast you can say that you drive a civic...and not one of those gastly ugly cobalts!

much prefer the civic over the domestic... looks and reliability c'mon

and plus modding a civic just sounds more righter(take that grammar *****) than a cobalt/cavy

 

Take it with a grain of salt but the ecotec is infact a very very reliable engine and will hold ludicrous amounts of power. Much like the famed k20.

but its a domestic... and the name "ecotec" soo does not give the impression of power and reliability

btw would love to see Sov take one on (when hes finished of course )
