Having problems rolling up/down windows
I have a 2000 Civic EX 2D. The passenger side window will not roll down and the drivers side window seems to be slowing every time I roll it up or down. They both have electric motors. But is it the motors or regulators that need replacing? Or both? And is anyone reading this selling any or know anybody that is???

RE: Having problems rolling up/down windows
my drivers side window does not roll up and stay up. Once it reaches the top it falls back down 1/4". It's like something is loose so I have to carefully raise the window so it doesn't drop once it reaches the peak.
anyone know what my problem is, they're power windows.

RE: Having problems rolling up/down windows
Would'n it be good if Honda read these forums.
For the record, on power windows that get stuck and won't go up and down as the're meant too.
My 07 Civic 3,000 k's on the clock has a dodgey d/door window already.
(for the moment the addition of silicon spray in the baily channel is doing the job, however I am su****ious that the regulator mechanism is not rigid enough to keep the glass positioned!, so unless the glass is totally free to slide, it jambs).

RE: Having problems rolling up/down windows
I had the same problems with my drivers side window on my Honda Accord Heres my solution,
Question- "Hey guys I need quick help. I curently have a 2 door 1994 honda accord sitting in my garage and the driver window dosent roll up or down, I still have power to it and you can still hear the noise of it attempting but, I dont think the wires are either pulling or the wire is caught up in the window somewhere. The window is a power window not manual and im sitting with the door off already trying to figure it out.
thanks ahead of time"
I later found out that this was the problem
"ok wellI believeI figured it out. After getting tired of the stupid thingI cut the wire to just take the whole motor out and replace it, I found that inside the part kinda by the tracks the ball that rolls the wire was broke in half. I dunno if you guys can picture that but I think thats it im going to go buy a new motor tommrow. "

RE: Having problems rolling up/down windows
You didnt have to cut the cable, theres a simple plastic piece that can disconnect it. And are you talking about the regulator split in half? (the metal piece with the tracks?)
