Default Help on buying a CIVIC!!!

Hello, everyone!

First of all, I hope that this is the right place to post a question regarding a Honda Civic model that I want to buy.
The model is
HondaCivic Aerodeck 1.5i Comfort, available for sale in Germany at the price of around 8500 Euros. The car dates back from 1999 and it has on board around 50.000 km. I would like to ask you, guys, if this car worths spending the money upon.

Thank you all!

the price seems rather high, but it also mainly depends on the condition of the car and drivetrain

That's the point! I mean, I was looking throught he offers that are posted on the Internet and my bias was toward choosing a car that has a higher price, since this may give me at least one argument in favor of the quality of the car. Another thing that I may add is that, maybe the Hondas - but generally I think that this is valid for a large array of cars - are a little bit more expensive in Europe than in the USA.

But my question, really, is if this model is a reliable one, because I was not able to find many reviews on the Internet. Unfortunately, Honda made that model mainly for the European market, so that many information are not available...For instance, I could not get a manual or even some clear technical specifications for the model.

do you have a link to the car or an ad for the car? and for the price, that's not always the case, but it also depends on the model you're getting. since that model is only offered over there, it will be a bit more expensive. if you like it, and you think the price is good, go for it.

it's definitely not one for looks, lol. as for the condition, it said it's inspections and everything were good, at least the price is negotiable.

Its because we are not used to seeing civics being that big. But you can always test drive it and see if everything is working good, then offer him less money and see if he accepts it.

it's probably because he doesn't approve of it by it's looks. the US civic market is rather different than your own. if you need a "point A to point B" car, then it's fine considering the info you gave us.
