If you are looking to lower your car I would look at coilovers. Make sure you don't blow your stock shocks so I would recommend getting a full coilover kit and make sure its a good brand.
Here is a good deal for brand name Skunk2 Full Coilovers. Adjustable and all.

I got my after market headlights and tailights off a site call k2motor.com There normal OEM's, but at a cheap price and i have had no problems with either for months.

Well it all depends if you want your ride height adjustable or not. Springs are less expensive but you can't adjust their height. If you don't need to adjust the height, springs are the way to go. If you lower the car, you'll need new shocks to go with. I recommend KYB AGX or Koni Yellow shocks.

For headlights and taillights, I don't think i've ever seen good looking 88-91 Civic aftermarket lights... all the ones i've seen are extremely ricey.

These headlights would look good though... http://passwordjdm.com/JDM-EF2-88-91...P1221C119.aspx

If you want to be able to adjust the ride height, let me recommend my suspension setup. I have KYB AGX's and Ground Control coilovers and I love them!

I do not need to adjust as it sits pretty low as is and I am happy with that. My question is that is the front one just shocks as well as the back that you have to replace or is there something diff up front ? I would just like to use this: http://www.k2motor.com/sd-te-ska36-aub00.html
