HELP! siezed up n f***ed up
#11
I would do the rear main seal, timing belt/tensioner/water pump, get a new clutch, and resurface the stock flywheel or get a lightened flywheel if you want a little bump in performance. That is if your old clutch hasn't been replaced in a while. I say do the clutch/flywheel since you already have everything apart; it would suck to get everything together than have to drop the tranny a few months later to do the clutch. Also get a new cap and rotor for your old distributor. Check for leaks too, for example sometimes the valve cover gasket leaks and the gasket around the oil pan goes occasionally as well. Both are easy to replace yourself, and parts aren't expensive. Whatever you get, OEM Honda is normally the best and I would get everything I mentioned from the Honda dealer except for the clutch/flywheel. ACT and Exedy make a decent clutch, just don't get anything too extreme (for example you don't need a stage 3 six puck or anything, a street disc or stock replacement clutch will do just fine.)
