i have a 1995 honda civic dx

i have a question, hopefully someone can help, can i change the hood on my car to a hood that is like the kind on the 1996 models?

In a word: No. They're completely different sizes and shapes - you'll notice the difference in headlight shapes.

If there's a particular hood you've seen on a newer model, look around and see if there's an aftermarket hood that's similar for your model.

Grafting body parts from different years is WAY more involving than people think. And no offense intended, because you're asking this question - I'm guessing you're not skilled in auto-body repair or fabrication.
