i had HIDs in my eg (non retrofitted) and i followed my friend and he said they werent bad at all

I'm sooo glad I read this I have Pink HIDS I have yet to get put in because one of the Ballast boxes were bad so I have to get a new one. My stock headlight I think were adjusted wrong they are aiming at the moon on a serious note I should have that fixed

are you guys saying that the aftermarket projector headlights won't focus the beam for HIDs?

I think what they are saying is projectors are junk for lack of a better word... they are saying that HIDs with your stock headlight housing usually throws the light up into someones rear view...But Id assume you can just have them adjusted?

Correct. Because the 'aftermarket projector headlights' are Halogen projectors, not HID projectors. But on a positive note, they do not glare like an HID bulb in a stock reflector housing so it's not as rude to other drivers.
