Default horsepower

Without doing a swap. I got a d16z6 engine, with 10.2mm plug wires, performance headers, and a full cat back exhaust, no cats, cold air intake, ngk iridium plugs, and a tuned computer. I have it to where vtec kicks in at 4500rpms. Howmuch power am I looking at at the engine and at the wheels? I know stock the engine horsepower is 125.

You might have like 150 HP or so at the crank now, best case scenario, which is around 127.5 HP at the wheels (15% rule).

Though, certain details cause variations in power. Exhaust size? Which exhaust is it? Which header do you have? Who tuned the ECU and what method was used (dyno tuned or just a chipped ECU)? If it's a chipped ECU, who programmed the chip? In what condition is the engine... burning any oil? etc...

I've used this as reference before when looking at I/H/E

He's probably sitting around 120-130whp

Is your throttle body larger than stock?

If so is the intake pipe matched going to the throttle body?

Is your throttle position sensor properly calibrated to your new throttle body?

Is the throttle body port matched to the intake manifold?

What ECU/EMS do you have? Proper tune?

4-2-1 stainless steel headers, 2.25" piping, chipped ecu from diytuning, got the whole computer from them, stock throttle body just polished, thinking about switching to a 66mm, along with a aftermarket intake manifold, its the same tps that came in the throttle body, intake piping is bigger then the throttle body until I switch to aftermarket tb, muffler is 2.25" inlet with a 4.5" tip, it don't burn the oil until it reaches about 2800-3500miles, I try to change it every 2500 miles

That's part of his signature, he didn't post it/wasn't talking to you about that part.

Building the engine is pretty much the only way you will get that much more power without boosting, so you're on the right track.

o ok. im gonna buying a new spoon chip for these mods. My ecu is already chipped and socketed but I'm gonna get it for the included new mods. Should I get a launch contor? Never had a launch control before. Keep in mind this is also my daily driver bt also my race and show car.
