RE: how does a rev limiter work
you can fab your own intake too ya know. all you have to do is draw up your plans, see how your current one works and figure up some dimention and fitment for your sencores... get that right and you might just have a little side job on ebay
if i had the new si. thats what i would be doing.

ummmmmmmmmm... i love your car and your avatar, they both rock !!!, and with the rev limiter you should be able to hear it when it kicks in, it will be like " vrooooooooooom ooom ooom ooom ooom" and so on until you stop

Just because your rev limiter is up in the 8000's doesn't mean you should hit it. You can still hurt ****. One of my friends threw a piston out of his hood doin that. I have a 2000 Si with a bunch of **** and I've never hit the rev limiter yet and I don't plan on it.

I don't like this thing that manufactures are doing with the engine bays. The try to cover everything up, the best example i think is the 350Z. I looked at the engine, the only thing i could see was the windshield wiper resorvoir and the coolant i believe. If you can save up 3K in two months, you must be making alot of money.

hahahhahahahaahahaha.... yeah, the engine bay is a little cramped up. it doesn't have as much space as the other civics. in terms of making money i make enough. the only problem is i haven't ever installed a super charger before. i have to read up on that before i do it. i jus hope i don't mess up. and i think i should wait first and see what comes out before i plunge in. the only super charger i see being developed right now is from comptech. it isn't out yet though.
