Default How to identify the year of a civic

Hi, is it posible to see the differences between a civic 2001 and 2002 from outside?

Some people "know" the year just by seeing it, but I can't. I mean civics from the same generation.

The tenth digit in a VIN is a letter code that encodes the model year. So if you can get close enough to the car to read the VIN tag, there is a way to tell the model year from outside.
