'06 EX Sedan w/Navi, bought south of Houston at Honda of Clear Lake. Paid just a little over 21k with a few add-on's. Nothing extravagant. Got reasonable numbers on the trade-in. The price wasn't great but not too bad either. I'm sure there are those who did better on a similar deal but I've never been all that enthusiastic about negotiating. I'm not unhappy with the deal and that's all that really matters.
As for the radio, I don't see how you could upgrade the Navi audio system without loosing a LOT of functionality in the nav system. It could probably be done but I don't have a clue as to where you'd start. Having said that, the audio system in my EX isn't that bad. It's certainly a LOT better than what came in the two other Honda's I've owned.
The Nav system itself is an interesting toy in local driving. I've done a number of routes just to see how it calculates which direction to go. I've had a number of them that had me wondering what the system was thinking that it would go the way it did. Definitely not the most direct or shortest route it could have taken. In your own backyard, it's pretty much useless but I think I'd be reasonably assured ot getting where I want to go in a city I was unfamiliar with. I'm glad I got it!

thought that was a decent price but i did a lot of negotiating and that's hard to do here in cali...

Did the 24k si come with the rims, visor, or anyother accesories. went to the dealer yesterday and they said msrp for an si with EVERYTHING was 26k.

Our local dealer charges us 3% over invoice for any Honda or Acura we want with no DOC fee's. He also tosses in the 4 mudguards and the engine block heater for free. We are happy with this seeing we have bought about 5 cars from them. We pay actual DMV fee's which are about $200 for 2 years. We do not have sales tax. My son just ordered an 07 Coupe, manual, no nav. And the out the door price on it will be around $18,600 as we do not have sales tax.
We NEVER trade in a vehicle as it is always a money losing situation.
I have no idea how some of you can get the dealer to sell you a brand new car for under invoice. To be honest I find it hard to believe.
