How much does it cost to put a new clutch in a 92 civic?

but about clutch replacement cost, if youre going to have someone else do it, first look up the price for the full clutch kit parts only. because you dont want to replace just the clutch, you want to replace the whole assembly, etc etc. its worth it.
once you figure out that cost, then depending on how hard the job is (for hondas dont you have to pull the engine? but what is that, 4 engine bolts and some wires? of course its more complicated, but not too difficult right?) multiply each hour that you can guess it will cost by 40 or so.
for example, a clutch kit for my vw is 350 bucks. its also a 7 hour job. and one quote said its 80-90 bucks an hour, plus the 350.

but since youre a honda, its much cheaper...so best bet is to call around after checking clutch kit prices.

Sorry - I gotta lot to say about crappy mechanics I've experienced over the years. Again - so I learned to do it all myself.
I am with him. I learn to do most of work myself not because I want to save money, I Just dont trust them.
haha... i like to save money and know how to work on stuff.
