How much Power can i expect from a SOCH Engine
I have 2001 Honda civic LX, SOCH 1.7 liter,
My question is this, how much power can I expect to get after getting, pulleys, cams, exhaust, headers and a intake?
Is there anything else i could do after this to bump up the power with out taking apart the engine (Pistons or crank shaft)

Eh not really. There are 2 options to make hondas fast. Boost and Swaps. Taking a stock honda motor and boosting it will get you some nice gains. Swapping will do the same. However, you are unfortunate to have the weakest D series motor made. The D17's bottom ends are really weak, so they cant handle too much boost. Id say get a turbo kit, but its imperative you get a professional dyno tune, and you must keep the boost numbers low. It just sucks cuz u gotta alter the fuel system, and there is a smaller aftermarket on turbo KITS, so theyre costly. You could piece a custom kit, but unless you know what ur doing, I wouldnt recommend it. I guess it just depends on what your goals for the car are. If ur looking for a little more power then just keep the stock motor, and throw on some bolt ons. If you are looking for a serious amount of power, start looking into a K20A swap.
