How much should it cost for a shop to tune my engine?

I'm not really sure what "sensor" it would be using for the injectors other than the injector harness itself. I've been looking around and so far nothing that sound like the problem your having. The car runs ok right now right? Other than you said it might be running a little rich.

it seems to be running fine but i havent actually driven it yet because my birthday is in a week and i don't want to pay for a license plate for one week, but it starts up fine and seems to idle fine although it does seem a little high but it may just need to warm up, i called that shop and the guy there said i would prlly need to take it in to their shop to run diagnostics which i don't really want to do if possible cause i hate paying mechanics to do stuff i want to do, but he didn''t seem to knowledgeable about it so he is gonna have another guy call me back tommorow, this also brings me back to the topic of this thread! He said flat rate for the tuning is $400 plus the hondata chip if i need that, which i am about to go open the ecu and see, but he said that since the other guy told me 650 there are prlly some other cost related to the my setup or somethin. I think maybe he said it was 400 plus 50 for the chip and like 200 to install it but im not sure so does that seem too high because i was told it can be done for under 300 and i really don't want to spend any more than that if possible

Hmm this just got a little bit interesting because i opened my ecu and it appears that it is not chipped so maybe that is the problem i posted a picture in my photo album for some reason it wouldn't let me attach it and i don't feel like messin around with it here is the link

Have you discussed your ideas with the previous owner who would likely be very helpful?

So I talked to the guy at the shop and he said that the reason it is throwing a code 16 is because the b16 fuel injectors operate at 2-3 ohms and the p28 ecu was made for the original injectors which operate at 10-12 ohms so he said i need to either get a resistor box or just get new injectors that operate at 10-12 ohms and are rated at 245cc. The only thing is when i have searched injectors most don't say how much cc they are rated for. Does any one have experience with this?
BTW He said that the codes are still the same.He also said that he is surprised it will even run because normally when you do that the ecu gets fried within half an hour
