So, i Changed my oil, and filter, drained it and all that stuff.
i put castrol oil in my car.
The same day i checked it and it was black?! why.. shouldnt it be that yellowish looking color, i dont know why it would still be black, or how to fix it i would hate to mess up my car because of this and would like to know what the problem is so i could fix it right away. Thankss!

This kind of made me scratch my head....
The oil is only the Yellowish color when it is poured into the motor..... As is cycles it turns dark due to dirt and grime and previous old oil not fully drained out.
right?

next time, you might wanna try a high mileage oil filter if the previous owner didnt do a good job keeping up with oil changes. Also, if you seafoam your car, it will do wonders with cleaning out that gunk.
