I didn't buy a Honda to keep it mint
Ok, I seem to be the opposite of most car buyers, and people on this forum. You see, I can't afford the luxury of show cars, or having a "winter beater". My car has to do it all, and do it well. One car is my summer cruiser, and at the same time my winter beater. A car has to last me 5 years minimum. I guess this is why I've always bought Hondas/Acuras, and they always exceed my expectations. I enjoy putting miles on my car, because I'd like to make my mechanics 300k club with this Civic. Aren't they for driving anyways? What fun is it trying to keep a car mint? Rack up those miles!

i try to keep my car as mint as possible, the inside looks brand new..i still have the plastic the dearler puts under the floor mats it keeps the carpits clean and in the winter i get big huge rubber mats...make sure its super clean in the summer in and out, but its getting rock chips and scratchs on it[:@][:'(] but i want to keep it mint as long as possible..only 93,000km!,but as long as i keep the outside looking nice and no rust i can have that thing go forever..with a nice swap

You can have a high-mileage "mint" car. It's all about caring for your property. My '97 Taurus has 118K miles on it now, and still looks like it's a month old. My '90 SHO has 156K miles on it, and you can tell it wasn't taken care of by it's previous owners. If you want a high resale value, or people's heads to snap around when you pass them, keep it clean!
