i'm bummed out guys!!
so i just did a jdm d15b swap. its suppost to have the three stage vtec.but i dont have the jdm p2j ecu any ways.
it keeps throwing code 14 - Idle Air Control (IAC Valve)
and i already cleaned it...
i cleaned it EXTREMELY WELL...
what do i do?
what else is there to do?
i havent set the ignition time yet
i am using the y8 dizzy
and i havent set the ignition timeing yet/ could that mean anything???
please help guys

well thanks man. i set the timing today. and also made sure the IAC valve worked by unpluging it. then plugging it in. and i can tell it works. i am going to check to make sure all of my hose's are on tight and check for leaks, but i cant think of anything else

You get the code 14 when the idle is too high for any reason, typically a stuck IACV or a vacuum leak. With the IACV unplugged, the engine should almost stall. You can check the ports on the side of the throttle body before the throttle plate to see where air is flowing.

there was a post somewhere, that some one was on their way to napa or something, and there car was idling eraticaly. then they noticed they forgot to connect the iacv back in, and nike chimed in and said he got his mixed up. ill try to look for the exact thread/post.
