Hey guys hows it going? Well im in the market for a new car soon and was looking at the 2008 civic SI. I like what it has to offer and going to start a family soon so i will be getting the sdn version. I own a NSRT-4 right now and going to keep it a track car. So my questions are if anybody has the new civic Si. How do you like it? What are your Pros-Cons about it?

Thanks
Slim

for a everyday driver that is still fun i have to say civic si. hondas hold there resale value like no other car company on the planet. my car still it blue booked at 4300 bucks and its a 95 hatchback 13 years old. i rebuilt it after 250,000 not because it needed it but i wanted peace of mind knowing i was going to be ragging on it. it would be a good car that you will acctually get your moneys worth out of it

mazdaspeed anything is fun and fast, well that goes for any turboed car. but as for longjevity im not sure. i dont know a whole lot about mazda but my buddy has a 2002 mazda6 and its already starting to have problem

Yeah i used to own a 97 Prelude SH and that car i put 115k on it before i sold it and with no problems. I know that the civic is aobut 3k cheaper than the rest too. But i still do know, stuck inbetween the Caliber and SI.

The caliber is pretty fast, but that depreciation value is horrible. I would go with the civic, so reliable and depreciation isnt a problem

IMO Dodge isn't worth a cent. I had an srt 4 05 and it had too many problems to name
When i worked at enterprise we were always taking in cars from dodge, brand new, with only about 12xxx miles on them
Minivans, sedans, and chrysler jeeps.
So IMO leave dodge out of the picture.

I would say go with the SI...even though caliber will be fast you will get more mpg in your honda, will always be able to sell it in the future and I think that Honda are a lot more fun than Dodge then again you are asking a Civic Forum
