Default Integra Type R

Hi, I know its not a civic question but I'm thinking of purchasing one of these. It is a Japanese import. It has a K20 engine and is 220BHP as standard. Did this get produced for the USA market as well as the Jap market? And basically do you guys like them? It is a 2001 model btw.

the RSX is only a RSX in the US, Europe and Japan it is an Integra and the equivent to our type S is the Integra Type R.

So yes hondafreek it is produced in the US but it is called the Acura RSX-S and its 201hp @7800RPM which I think is the same as bwp but I'm not sure

The Integra is only JDM, and the Type R isn't really the same as the RSX-S. From lowest to higest power on that chassis, the progression is like so:

RSX
Integra
RSX-S
Integra Type R

Thanks for the info. Apparently the Integra Type R is 220BHP. So it is just an RSX-S?

Other than the extra 20 hp (In 2001) I doubt there's too much of a difference.

Well, uh... the steering wheel is on the other side. Gotta love JDM.

And I think the Type R has a higher CR and more aggressive cams to account for that extra juice.
