Just installed rear strut bar/used it to hold subs in place
I just installed my ebay rear strut bar, and now with both strut bars I can definitely feel a huge difference.
I took my sub box and put it right up against the strut bar, and then bracketed it to the strut bar. I used some bendable metal bracket stuff, and cut them to length, and then put strips of carpet (from the holes I had to cut in the trunk carpet to install the rear strut bar) and put them between the bracket and the strut bar to prevent rattling. It works pretty good. I no longer have the box attached to the trunk floor, making it a lot easier to get the spare tire out if i need to, and it stays in place better. No rattling from this setup whatsoever, and it functions well. Subs cannot move in the trunk at all now, no more worrying about taking corners with them in there and having them fly around in the trunk.
Here's some pics (I turned up the brightness on the 1st picture so you could see it better):

so if you need to get your spare, you have to take the bar and subs out? how much room do you have left in front of the box cuz i was thinkin of doing the hidden trapdoor build.

I can loosen the nuts on each end of the bar itself, and tilt the box upwards while holding it up or propping it and I can unscrew the spare tire and pull it out.
But even before when it was bracketed to the floor, I could get my arm under the trunk floor and unscrew the spare tire without even moving the subs.
The sub box goes right up to where my trunk floor folds in half, so I can still flip up the rear portion and access it.
